Motorcyclist Killed in Hit-and-run in West Los Angeles

A motorcyclist was killed in a hit-and-run accident in West Los Angeles on Sunday at the intersection of Jefferson Blvd. and Mesmer Avenue. Police continue to search for the driver of the 2001 BMW that turned left into the victim riding his 2007 R1 motorcycle. The accident occured around 3:05 pm.

Officers respoded to a collision call where they found the victim unresponsive next to his motorcycle. The man was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
