According to FAA spokesman Ian Gregor, all three people were killed in a small plane crash Sunday. The accident occured 2.5 miles east of the Barstow-Daggett Airport in San Bernardino County, officials said.

The plane, believed to be a Cessna 210, was headed from John Wayne Airport in Tustin to Henderson Executive Airport in Las Vegas when it crashed about 12:40 p.m., said Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department reported that the aircraft was fully engulfed in flames, Gregor said.

Both the FAA and National Transportation Safety Board will investigate. Neither agency releases the identities of crash victims, Gregor said.
